If you want to work in the Prime Time TV Hollywood Studio System, then the studios are looking for a very specific set of skills. How do you know if your portfolio demonstrates those skills? Breaking Through with Director Brian Mainolfi is a series of lectures that seek to explain in explicit detail the necessary elements for different job classifications within the Prime Time TV Hollywood Studio System, and help you prepare your portfolio to best exhibit those skills.
Brian will present numerous examples from within each discipline to fully explain the workflow at a studio. You will learn specific job duties, and how to revamp your portfolio to demonstrate, specifically, what the studios are looking for.
The goal is to start you on the path to creating a portfolio that is more tailor-made to everyday work situations within a studio, and therefore make you more likely to be recruited.
Whether you’ve ever worked at a Prime Time TV Studio before, if you want to change job categories, or ‘level up’ your skills – Brian wants to help you prepare.
